On 28–29 April, partners of the FURN5.0 project met in Milan at FederlegnoArredo's headquarters to review progress and plan upcoming activities. The meeting was a key moment to coordinate efforts as the project moves into its second year.
The evolution of industrial paradigms has led to the emergence of Industry 5.0, an approach that goes beyond automation and digitalization to place human-centricity, resilience, and sustainability at its core. Unlike Industry 4.0, which primarily focused on efficiency and smart manufacturing, Industry 5.0 aims to create a more balanced interaction between technology, people, and environmental responsibility.
