After analysing the state of the art of industry 5.0 in the furniture sector in Europe through desk research (D2.1 – Industry 5.0 in Europe), the Furn5.0 project involved companies in the sector in a survey on their level of readiness and their propensity to adopt this model.

From September to November 2024 a massive survey was administered online across Europe with the aim of monitoring the general level of knowledge and progress of furniture companies in relation to Industry 5.0 approach, take-up and deployment, focusing in particular on the enabling technologies of Industry 5.0 and investigating companies’ interest in them.

The questionnaire was answered by 170 companies from 12 European countries.
